Abdullahi Abdisalan Hersi is 21 years old, Kenyan. He lives in Nairobi Kenya. On November 09th, 2015, After a brief illness he has been diagnosed kidneys failure with lab test results indicated creatinine 1267 mmol/L, showing poor corticomedullary differentiations. He was admitted with end-stage real disease. Following up more examinations to further determine his kidneys function, on November 24th, 2015, he went to Hyderabad, India. After extensive examinations and biopsy with diagnosed Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) his doctors Dr. Sirikanth and Dr. Andrews concluded that both Abdullahi’s kidneys failed and he needs transplant as soon as possible. Due to the lack of donors, rules and regulations in India, and cost, he could not be able to obtain kidney transplant in Hyderabad India. However, he was commenced on dialysis after creating AV Fistula and jugular vein catheter. Then, he went back to Nairobi Kenya. His condition is deteriorating, and resent lab results showed very low Hb, 6.8 g/dL, and excessive edema.

I, Abdusalaam Haji Hirsi, father of Abdullahi, would like to obtain medical visa, B-2, for him to do kidney transplant at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. I will donate one of my kidneys to my son to save his life insha-Allah and become a life-donor.

The main goal of this fundraising is to safe my young son’s life, Inshaa-Allah, and to help pay his kidney transplant ASAP. I ask your commitment to support my son’s kidney transplant procedure to save his life. First phase of my goal is to fundraise $94,600 for kidney transplant procedure and I hope that you will be able to contribute this life saving procedure.
